It was founded in 1964, when the family business started. Firstly, only treating small series of pieces in salt furnaces.

In 1970 an enterprise policy was put into practice, working hard on quality, enviroment and customer service in order to satisfy our customers demand.

As a consequence of the above mentioned policy, a new factory was built in Sant Just Desvern in 1975.

The enterprise became into a Limited Liability Corporation, whose new facilities were directed towards a complete automation and towards respect for the enviroment.

Nowadays, Tratamientos Térmicos Badía, S.A. is certified according to the regulation UNE-EN-ISO 9001.
